Creche
Cedar Grows School believes in providing a well-rounded education for children; our utmost aim is to build a solid foundation for our pupils and students. Our creche cares for babies from ages 3 to 18 months in a warm and homely environment.

- Spacious, Well-Lit Rooms & Dedicated Caregivers
When setting up our creche, our plan is to provide the best creche in Nigeria. Therefore, we ensure the room is spacious with adequate light and ventilation. To also ensure our caregivers are dedicated and not overwhelmed, we adopt a 3:1 caregiver-to-baby ratio in our creche. Our primary objective is to ensure babies in our care are comfortable at all times, by changing their wet diapers on time, giving them nutritious food according to their need and encouraging good habits through routine activities such as potty training.

In our creche, we adopt play-based learning – an integral part of the Montessori teaching method, which is proven to help kids learn faster and comprehend the basis of what they are being taught. Pre-School
Our preschool section is designed to lay a solid foundation for children aged 18 months to 5+years. When you enrol your child in our preschool, he or she will experience an all-round fully integrated form of the Montessori method of education, which enables children to achieve their full potential.
At Cedar Grows Preschool, our teaching approach is child-centred. Our teachers neither impose on our pupils nor abandon them in total free play. Our classes are equipped with Good Montessori materials in the following five Montessori curriculum areas:
Practical Life Exercises
These include elementary movements and preliminary activities such as classroom conduct and the development of fine motor skills – pouring, transferring, sweeping, opening and closing, care of self, care of the environment, development of social skills, grace and courtesy.
Sensorial Education
This is the arear that deals with the stimulation of a child’s five senses – taste, touch, smell, sight, and hearing. This allows children to use their senses to explore and understand the world around them. It also consists of activities that help them study tastes, objects, textures, numbers, colours and situations.
NUMERACY
In teaching Numeracy in Montessori schools all over the world – pupils are guided to make use of materials such as number rods, abacus, sandpaper numerals, spindle boxes, golden beads, materials and sequence operations. Your child will experience the same in Cedar Grows School, to use mathematical materials to compute simple addition, subtraction, division and multiplication of numbers.
Language
This includes the development of written expression, reading, writing, oral and grammar of your child. At Cedar Grows Schools, Your child’s basic skills in writing and reading will be developed through the use of hands-on materials.
Cultural Subjects

Primary School
For your child to be qualified for enrollment in our Primary School, he or she must be of a minimum age by 1st of September of the school year.
At Cedar Grows Primary School, our primary goal is to build a solid educational foundation for children, so as to ensure their smooth transition into the secondary school of their choice.
We provide a stimulating and enjoyable learning environment to enable your child to develop his or her cognitive ability. We also set-up challenges within a well-supervised and caring environment to enhance self-esteem, self-confidence and care for the emotional needs of your child. Furthermore, our sports programme is also tailored towards the needs of your child to help them improve their psychomotor skills.

Secondary School
The entry-level class into our Secondary School is Year 7, and in the first three years, our students are introduced to more advanced studies in English, Mathematics, and Sciences. At the end of the three years, our students sit for the Basic Education Certificate Examination [BECE] and can also sit for Checkpoint Examination. As one of the best secondary schools in Nigeria, our students have the opportunity undergo the Checkpoint Examination, as this will helps us to understand their strengths and weaknesses – in preparation for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination(WASSCE), National Examination Council (NECO) and International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) exam.

Therefore, by enrolling your child in our Secondary School, he or she will spend six (6) years, building on the foundation set at the elementary level. At the end of Year 12, which is the final year of our Secondary School, your child will sit for the WASSCE, NECO-SSCE and IGCSE exam which is conducted by the West African Examination Council (WAEC) National Examination Council (NECO) and University of Cambridge Local Examination Syndicate (UCLES) respectively.
